Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Melanie Sykes, 55, and her partner had split up. Is the television host best known as cast member of Loose Women in 2009 really single again?

Sykes spotted alone

A fan spotted Melanie Sykes walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 12, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Melanie back on the market?

A rep for Melanie Sykes was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the television host was splitting hit the internet Tuesday (January 13), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
