Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Melissa Benoist, 38, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her role on the television series Glee really single again?

Benoist spotted alone

A fan spotted Melissa Benoist walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of October 10, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Melissa back on the market?

A rep for Melissa Benoist was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Sunday (October 11), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
