Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Michèle Alliot-Marie, 80, and her partner had split up. Is the MAM really single again?

Alliot-Marie spotted alone

A fan spotted Michèle Alliot-Marie walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of October 20, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Michèle back on the market?

A rep for Michèle Alliot-Marie was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the politician was splitting hit the internet Wednesday (October 21), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
