Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Michèle Torr, 78, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for hit songs like J'en appelle à la tendresse or Emmène-moi danser ce soir really single again?

Torr spotted alone

A fan spotted Michèle Torr walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of December 23, 2025. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Michèle back on the market?

A rep for Michèle Torr was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer was splitting hit the internet Wednesday (December 24), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
