Is the 62-year-old actress officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Michelle Fairley, 62, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in Game of Thrones, 24 (Live Another Day) or Harry Potter really single again?

Fairley spotted alone

A fan spotted Michelle Fairley walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of July 15, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Michelle back on the market?

A rep for Michelle Fairley was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Thursday (July 16), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
