Is the 73-year-old television host officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Mireille Dumas, 73, and her partner had split up. Is the former host of ‘Vie privée, vie publique’ really single again?

Dumas spotted alone

A fan spotted Mireille Dumas walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of October 9, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Mireille back on the market?

A rep for Mireille Dumas was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the television host was splitting hit the internet Saturday (October 10), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
