Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Molly Shannon, 61, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known as cast member of Saturday Night Live in 2001 really single again?

Shannon spotted alone

A fan spotted Molly Shannon walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of April 24, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Molly back on the market?

A rep for Molly Shannon was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Saturday (April 25), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
