Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Monica Bellucci, 61, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in The Passion of the Christ, The Matrix Reloaded or Brotherhood of the Wolf really single again?

Bellucci spotted alone

A fan spotted Monica Bellucci walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 12, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Monica back on the market?

A rep for Monica Bellucci was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress - known for having been romantically involved with Vincent Cassel - was splitting hit the internet Tuesday (January 13), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
