Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Monica Seles, 52, and her partner had split up. Is the American tennis player really single again?

Seles spotted alone

A fan spotted Monica Seles walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 10, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Monica back on the market?

A rep for Monica Seles was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the tennis player was splitting hit the internet Sunday (January 11), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
