Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Nadia Comaneci, 64, and her partner had split up. Is the Romanian athlete really single again?

Comaneci spotted alone

A fan spotted Nadia Comaneci walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of June 11, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Nadia back on the market?

A rep for Nadia Comaneci was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the athlete was splitting hit the internet Friday (June 12), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
