Is the 91-year-old director officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Nadine Trintignant, 91, and her partner had split up. Is the director best known for It Only Happens to Others or My Love, My Love really single again?

Trintignant spotted alone

A fan spotted Nadine Trintignant walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of May 13, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Nadine back on the market?

A rep for Nadine Trintignant was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the director was splitting hit the internet Thursday (May 14), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
