Break-Up Rumors, Is Namie Amuro Single Again?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Namie Amuro, 48, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for her hit song Can You Celebrate? really single again?

Amuro spotted alone

A fan spotted Namie Amuro walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of June 8, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Namie back on the market?

A rep for Namie Amuro was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer was splitting hit the internet Tuesday (June 9), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
