Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Naomi Watts, 56, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in The Impossible or Mulholland Drive really single again?

Watts spotted alone

A fan spotted Naomi Watts walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of December 1, 2024. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Naomi back on the market?

A rep for Naomi Watts was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Monday (December 2), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
