Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Nazan Eckes, 49, and her partner had split up. Is the host of ‘Deutschland sucht den Superstar’ really single again?

Eckes spotted alone

A fan spotted Nazan Eckes walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 14, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Nazan back on the market?

A rep for Nazan Eckes was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the television host was splitting hit the internet Thursday (January 15), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
