Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Nicky Hilton, 42, and her partner had split up. Is the American heir really single again?

Hilton spotted alone

A fan spotted Nicky Hilton walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of July 19, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Nicky back on the market?

A rep for Nicky Hilton was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the heir - known for having been romantically involved with Ian Somerhalder or Kevin Connolly - was splitting hit the internet Monday (July 20), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
