Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Nicole Kidman, 58, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in Big Little Lies, Lion or Moulin Rouge! really single again?

Kidman spotted alone

A fan spotted Nicole Kidman walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of May 16, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Nicole back on the market?

A rep for Nicole Kidman was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress - known for having been romantically involved with Tom Cruise, Jude Law, Russell Crowe, Lenny Kravitz or Robbie Williams - was splitting hit the internet Sunday (May 17), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
