Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Olga Tañón, 59, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for hit songs like Cómo Olvidar, Basta Ya or Es Mentiroso really single again?

Tañón spotted alone

A fan spotted Olga Tañón walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of April 30, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Olga back on the market?

A rep for Olga Tañón was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer was splitting hit the internet Friday (May 1), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
