Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Olivia Ruiz, 46, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for her hit song La Femme chocolat really single again?

Ruiz spotted alone

A fan spotted Olivia Ruiz walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of September 15, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Olivia back on the market?

A rep for Olivia Ruiz was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer - known for having been romantically involved with Mathias Malzieu - was splitting hit the internet Wednesday (September 16), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
