Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Oprah Winfrey, 72, and her partner had split up. Is the former host of ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ really single again?

Winfrey spotted alone

A fan spotted Oprah Winfrey walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of March 12, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Oprah back on the market?

A rep for Oprah Winfrey was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the television host was splitting hit the internet Friday (March 13), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
