Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Paris Hilton, 44, and her partner had split up. Is the socialite best known for her role in The Simple Life really single again?

Hilton spotted alone

A fan spotted Paris Hilton walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 9, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Paris back on the market?

A rep for Paris Hilton was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the socialite - known for having been romantically involved with Doug Reinhardt, Rick Salomon, Benji Madden, Simon Rex or Deryck Whibley - was splitting hit the internet Saturday (January 10), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
