Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Patti Austin, 75, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for her hit song Baby, Come to Me really single again?

Austin spotted alone

A fan spotted Patti Austin walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of April 9, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Patti back on the market?

A rep for Patti Austin was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer was splitting hit the internet Friday (April 10), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
