Born Matthias Paul in Eisenhüttenstadt on December 16, 1971, his career spans an arc over many different eras and tastes in German history. Van Dyk's not just a great dj, he's an inspiration, an icon and a successful business man. At this point in his career, there seems to be little Paul hasn't done.
