It has been exactly 4 long years since Peggy Lipton died in Los Angeles on May 11, 2019 at the age of 72. As a number of online tributes attest, she was one of the most acclaimed actresses of her generation.

Born in New York on August 30, 1946, Peggy Lipton's career spanned an arc over many different eras and tastes in American history. Lipton was not just a great actress, she was an icon, an all-around inspiration to everyone.
In 1990 she touched the hearts of millions as Norma Jennings in ‘Twin Peaks’. Her legacy continues to grow as new generations of fans are discovering her unique heritage.
