It has been exactly one year since Philippe Tesson died in Paris on February 2, 2023 at the age of 94. As a number of online tributes attest, he was one of the most acclaimed journalists of his generation.

Today, fans of Philippe Tesson along with the rest of the world have been remembering the iconic man he was.

Born in Wassigny on March 1, 1928, Philippe Tesson's career spanned an arc over many different eras and tastes in French history. Tesson was not just a great journalist, he was an icon, an all-around inspiration to everyone.
