Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that PJ Harvey, 56, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for albums like Let England Shake, Down by the Water or Rid of Me, her hit Let England Shake, Down by the Water or Rid of Me really single again?

Harvey spotted alone

A fan spotted PJ Harvey walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of February 22, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is PJ back on the market?

A rep for PJ Harvey was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer was splitting hit the internet Monday (February 23), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
