Is Princess of Asturias officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Princess Letizia, 52, and her partner had split up. Is the Princess of Asturias really single again?

Princess Letizia spotted alone

A fan spotted Princess Letizia walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of April 1, 2025. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Letizia back on the market?

A rep for Princess Letizia was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the princess was splitting hit the internet Wednesday (April 2), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
