Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Queen Latifah, 55, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for her roles in What Happens in Vegas, Hairspray or Chicago really single again?

Queen Latifah spotted alone

A fan spotted Queen Latifah walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of December 24, 2025. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Queen Latifah back on the market?

A rep for Queen Latifah was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer was splitting hit the internet Thursday (December 25), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
