Is the 55-year-old monarch officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Queen Rania of Jordan, 55, and her partner had split up. Is the Jordanian monarch really single again?

Queen Rania of Jordan spotted alone

A fan spotted Queen Rania of Jordan walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 12, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Rania back on the market?

A rep for Queen Rania of Jordan was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the monarch was splitting hit the internet Tuesday (January 13), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
