Is the 93-year-old monarch officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Queen Sirikit of Thailand, 93, and her partner had split up. Is the Thai monarch really single again?

Kitiyakara spotted alone

A fan spotted Queen Sirikit of Thailand walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 13, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Sirikit back on the market?

A rep for Queen Sirikit of Thailand was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the monarch - known for having been romantically involved with Bhumibol Adulyadej - was splitting hit the internet Wednesday (January 14), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
