Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Rachel Roy, 52, and her partner had split up. Is the American fashion designer really single again?

Roy spotted alone

A fan spotted Rachel Roy walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of February 2, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Rachel back on the market?

A rep for Rachel Roy was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the fashion designer - known for having been romantically involved with Damon Dash - was splitting hit the internet Tuesday (February 3), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
