Sad news for Ifans fans. Speculation had been rife that the Welsh actor best known for his roles in The Amazing Spider-Man, Anonymous, Enduring Love or Notting Hill, will announce his retirement from acting, at age 58, with immediate effect.

“As we get older, there are phases of life that we enter into, and being an actor-musician just isn't fun anymore,” he might have said, says a source who remained anonymous.
