Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Rihanna, 38, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for hit songs like Take Care, Don't Stop the Music or Umbrella really single again?

Rihanna spotted alone

A fan spotted Rihanna walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of July 14, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Rihanna back on the market?

A rep for Rihanna was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer - known for having been romantically involved with Drake, Josh Hartnett, Chris Brown or J. R. Smith - was splitting hit the internet Wednesday (July 15), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
