Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Rita Pereira, 44, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her role on the television series Destinos Cruzados really single again?

Pereira spotted alone

A fan spotted Rita Pereira walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of March 16, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Rita back on the market?

A rep for Rita Pereira was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Tuesday (March 17), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
