Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Rita Wilson, 69, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 or Sleepless in Seattle really single again?

Wilson spotted alone

A fan spotted Rita Wilson walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of July 13, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Rita back on the market?

A rep for Rita Wilson was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Tuesday (July 14), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
