Popular politician-business man Rodrigo Rato has always liked to keep a bit of himself hidden from view. At 77th birthday, he remains a man of many facets.

Born Rodrigo de Rato y Figaredo in Madrid on June 18, 1949, his career spans an arc over many different eras and tastes in Spanish history. Rato's not just a great politician, he's an inspiration, an icon and a very charming man. At this point in his career, there seems to be little Rodrigo hasn't done.
