Is the 42-year-old actress officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Ruta Gedmintas, 42, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in The Strain, A Street Cat Named Bob, The Borgias or Lip Service really single again?

Gedmintas spotted alone

A fan spotted Ruta Gedmintas walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of April 3, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Ruta back on the market?

A rep for Ruta Gedmintas was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Saturday (April 4), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
