Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Sandy & Junior singer Sandy, 42, and her partner had split up. Is the Brazilian singer really single again?

Sandy spotted alone

A fan spotted Sandy walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 15, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Sandy back on the market?

A rep for Sandy was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer - known for having been romantically involved with Paulo Vilhena - was splitting hit the internet Friday (January 16), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
