Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Sanna Marin, 40, and her partner had split up. Is the former Finnish Prime Minister really single again?

Marin spotted alone

A fan spotted Sanna Marin walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of April 8, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Sanna back on the market?

A rep for Sanna Marin was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the politician was splitting hit the internet Thursday (April 9), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
