Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Sarah Ferguson, 66, and her partner had split up. Is the Duchess of York really single again?

Ferguson spotted alone

A fan spotted Sarah Ferguson walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of August 5, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Sarah back on the market?

A rep for Sarah Ferguson was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the princess was splitting hit the internet Thursday (August 6), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
