Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Sarah Jessica Parker, 61, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her role on the television series Sex and the City really single again?

Parker spotted alone

A fan spotted Sarah Jessica Parker walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of August 22, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Sarah Jessica back on the market?

A rep for Sarah Jessica Parker was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Sunday (August 23), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
