Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Sarah Koenig, 56, and her partner had split up. Is the American journalist really single again?

Koenig spotted alone

A fan spotted Sarah Koenig walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of March 22, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Sarah back on the market?

A rep for Sarah Koenig was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the journalist was splitting hit the internet Monday (March 23), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
