Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Selina Cadell, 72, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her role on the television series Doc Martin really single again?

Cadell spotted alone

A fan spotted Selina Cadell walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of March 23, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Selina back on the market?

A rep for Selina Cadell was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Tuesday (March 24), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
