Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Selma Blair, 53, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in Hellboy or Cruel Intentions really single again?

Blair spotted alone

A fan spotted Selma Blair walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 8, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Selma back on the market?

A rep for Selma Blair was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress - known for having been romantically involved with Ahmet Zappa - was splitting hit the internet Friday (January 9), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
