Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Shawnna, 48, and her partner had split up. Is the rapper best known for her hit song Gettin' Some really single again?

Shawnna spotted alone
A fan spotted Shawnna walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 13, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”
Is Shawnna back on the market?
A rep for Shawnna was not immediately available for comment.
Truth or rumor, when news that the rapper was splitting hit the internet Wednesday (January 14), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
