Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Shelby Lynne, 57, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for her hit song Wall in Your Heart really single again?

Lynne spotted alone

A fan spotted Shelby Lynne walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of March 18, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Shelby back on the market?

A rep for Shelby Lynne was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer was splitting hit the internet Thursday (March 19), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
