Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Shu Qi, 50, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in If You Are the One or The Transporter really single again?

Shu spotted alone

A fan spotted Shu Qi walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of May 13, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Qi back on the market?

A rep for Shu Qi was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Thursday (May 14), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
