Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Sophie Dahl, 47, and her partner had split up. Is the English author really single again?

Dahl spotted alone
A fan spotted Sophie Dahl walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of December 20, 2024. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”
Is Sophie back on the market?
A rep for Sophie Dahl was not immediately available for comment.
Truth or rumor, when news that the author - known for having been romantically involved with Mick Jagger, Benicio del Toro or Charlie Hunnam - was splitting hit the internet Saturday (December 21), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
