Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Sophie Favier, 62, and her partner had split up. Is the television host best known as cast member of Ciel, mon mardi ! really single again?

Favier spotted alone

A fan spotted Sophie Favier walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 12, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Sophie back on the market?

A rep for Sophie Favier was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the television host was splitting hit the internet Tuesday (January 13), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
