Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Bardot ex-singer Sophie Monk, 46, and her partner had split up. Is the Australian singer really single again?

Monk spotted alone

A fan spotted Sophie Monk walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 9, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Sophie back on the market?

A rep for Sophie Monk was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer - known for having been romantically involved with Sam Worthington, Benji Madden or Ryan Seacrest - was splitting hit the internet Saturday (January 10), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
