Is the author of Twilight officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Stephenie Meyer, 52, and her partner had split up. Is the author of Twilight really single again?

Meyer spotted alone

A fan spotted Stephenie Meyer walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of July 13, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Stephenie back on the market?

A rep for Stephenie Meyer was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the author was splitting hit the internet Tuesday (July 14), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
